It’s been months, hasn’t it? Guess I’ve been a funk for a good while. It happens at times where I becomes disillusioned with myself. Thankfully, I’ve made some new friends in my leave of absence that may give me the jolt I need to get back into the groove. Dan Gillman and Dan Stark host a gaming site at Varms.net, a place I’ve grown fond of over the past few months. They have a bunch of interesting content to leaf through – from podcasts to videos to headlines – and they’re always looking to beef up their catalogue.
I’m working with them to bring in some fresh graphical renovations as well as future comics and cartoons. They’re good fellows, and if anyone really visits this site at this point, I highly recommend giving these guys a visit. Check them out at http://www.varms.net
Many apologies for the lateness of this most recent update. I’ve been working away feverishly for my current term of schooling, as well as a couple side projects which are still in the works. I was uncertain if I should post anything I’ve completed for class until I realized that they looked decent enough for my ever expanding portfolio.
First comic strip! Some gamer humor for ya. If you don’t quite get it, check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtGvAE3ntHk
This will most definitely be a topic for a series of strips. I am a gamer, and like any gamer I find certain aspects of select games to be absurd and silly, though essential for fluid gameplay. I would like to point out that these mechanics would be sorely missed if realism took its place.
I’m not sure what I’ll title the series as a whole yet. I’m sure I’ll figure something out.
